Use scents to make more dollars! Try a quick refresh for your home with essential oils like Lemon and Lime which are also well-known for promoting a positive and balanced mood.
Another blend which is popular for cleaning and uplifting includes Wild Orange Peel, Clove Bud, Cinnamon Bark/Leaf, Eucalyptus Leaf and Rosemary Leaf/Flower. It is described as Warm, Spicy, Camphoraceous and Woody which may be your ideal blend for the cooler seasons.
Prior to inspections you may like to diffuse these oils to create an uplifting and energising environment. Another tip is to add just a few drops to water and use as cleaning product throughout the home (test in a small area first).
Indoor and outdoor pets can create aromas that you may not notice due to your senses being used to them or because the aroma only enhances after the home is closed up while you are out. While many people love a variety of pets, strong aromas may unravel a developing sale or cost you dollars on the sale result. Carpet and rug cleaning, keeping pet food areas fresh and ensuring the home is well aired while on the market will help keep you on track for a successful sale.
